We wrote "Dynamite" with the intention for brain-gym movements. Cross-body movements as well as isolation movement get our brains sparked for creative thinking, energy, and engagement. The response to this song is that parents, kids, and teachers all love it - we've performed it for K-5 assemblies as well as preschool shows!
lyrics
Dynamite!
Head, shoulders, knees and toes
Eyes, ears, and mouth, and nose
Thumbs up—way to go
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!
Jumping off your seat
Fingers arms and feet
Heel toe to the beat
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!
Chorus:
Shake it with the left
Shake it with the right
Shake it with the left
Shake it with the right
Cross down right to left
Back up you’re the best
Drop down left to right
Back up now let’s ignite
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!
We’re dynamite, we got the light
Head to toe, your body’s gonna do us right
You’re a star!
You’re a star!
You’re a star!
A body rockin’ superstar!
Head, shoulders, knees and toes
Eyes, ears, and mouth, and nose
Don’t forget elbows
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!
Now make a silly face
Hands now on your waist
Give your stomach an embrace
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!
Chorus
